Woodlands to Coast (with foraging, venison & breadmaking)
We're bringing together some of our River Cottage team to dive deep into our woodlands, forage along the coast and make some brilliant packed lunches along the way.I'll be looking at how we can use venison in dishes you'll love - including burgers and a classic venison pie, along with understanding how eating more venison can benefit our woodlands as well as other tips on how we can preserve our ancient woods and trees.Then we'll head off to the beach to forage for seaweed with River Cottage foraging expert Emma Gunn, and I'll be transforming seaweed finds into gyoza.Our River Cottage groundsman Mike Higgs will be catching up with Executive Chef Gelf to share his breadmaking skills and the healthy swaps he's made to his lunch box.
